August 29

We were at Carol's, Cyndy's cousin, for 2 days.  It was great seeing Carol & her brother Steve.
Oh yeah, this is Steve's little dog Lulu,  She was so nice it took her a while to get use to us, but her and Turbo had a blast playing.  A big dog like her being chased by Turbo, then it was her turn to chase Turbo.  It was fun to watch them play.
Now Turbo had a little more problems getting to know Carol's dogs, seven small poodle's.
He was wanting out here but after a while they all got alone rally pretty good.  She also has 5 horses and Cyndy was able to get a couple of pictures of them.  They are Carol's big four legged pets.

It was nice visiting with the both of them.  We got to meet Steve's wife Sandy but forgot to take a picture.  They live close to each other and get along just great for brother & sister.  We are going to try and stop by on our way north next spring.
We left there places Thursday morning and head out for the start of the Grand Circle in St George.

It has been a few years but the red rocks are so beutiful around this part of the country.

We got into St George about two in the afternoon and it was on it way up to 95 degrees.  It will be this way for a while.  They say the heat isn't bad down here because it is dry heat.  Well this little fat boy doesn't do very good in this heat, but it does feel good.  Just have to remember to drink lots of water.  Tomorrow I start inspection the rigs and on the first we start the rally.

August 26th

We have done pretty good the last couple of days.  We had great weather and open roads to travel on.
I-84 was not busy at all.  We set our speed just at 60 MPH and I didn't have to pass anyone.  The speeds here at 70 for trucks and 80 for cars, way to fast for me.  Doing 60 makes it easier on fuel and me.  We had a good two days of driving.  We are currently in Westpiont, UT tell tomorrow.  Then we will leave for St George for where our tour begins.

The country side around here is just beautiful, a lot of great farm land.  The only problem is when they finish harvesting.
The machinery is just left where they finish harvesting.  Today we are going to visiting with family and then get ready for a long drive tomorrow.  We are going to drive 335 tell we stop again.

August 24th

We are back on the road and heading south for our Grand Circle trip.  We are both very excited about doing this trip.  It is one of those that we have been waiting to do for a few years.
Anyway back a couple of days we arrived at home to start our ordeal of getting the licence plate for the RZR's.  First we had to go up to a dealership to get the RZR inspected for road worthiness.  That went good and passed with flying colors.  Next it was to the department of Licencing and hope that they had got the title from the loan company and we could get this thing licence.  It went perfect, now we are the proud owners of a licensed RZR for the road. Now Cyndy has her car for running around down south.
Next one of the other reasons we went home was to see our youngest granddaughter turn two.  So we stayed at our sons place, which made it nice, we got to see both granddaughters and spend some good time with them. They wanted to have hot dogs one night so I fixed them for them.
MJ just couldn't eat them fast enough, she must of been starved.  But I have to say these two kids like to eat!!!!
Morgan just loves to wear her food and eat also.  Its face that only PAPA could love.
On Saturday was Morgans second birthday and she scored on gifts but I think the cake was the best.

She wanted to dig in before we even sang her happy birthday, or blow out the candle.  But she finally did and did a pretty good job of eating cake.

Here she is washing her hands in the pool.  Great job Morgan!!!
We had a real good day, great roads and weather.  We got off the road before the wind picked up this afternoon with no problems.
The Columbia River looked pretty good today when we went across it at noon.  Tomorrow we head into Idaho somewhere.  Maybe some pictures from the road tomorrow.  Hope!!!!

August 19th

Those two weeks went by way to fast.  It is amazing how fast time flies when you are busy and having fun.  The first week we were at the Monaco Rally in Coos Bay, working for Adventure Caravan working on selling trips.  At night we were close to where the kids were playing in the dunes.  We had a few great rides with them.  It has been a long time since we have been down here playing.  We didn't sell any trips but planted a lot of seeds and we hope they book later.
After we finished the Monaco Rally, we moved to where the kids were playing in the dunes and rode with them for two days.  It was great to see our grandson play on in dunes and he was catch a little air while doing it.
Then on Sunday we head to Bend Thousand Trails Park for a couple of day of rest before heading to the FMCA Rally in Redmond, OR.  It rained the night before we left with a little bit of thunder, which put Turbo on his shaking and being terrified tell it was all over.  The next morning when I took Turbo out for his walk we seen a tree down across the trail that we walked the last couple of days.  I didn't think it was that windy tell we left and seen two more trees down and one of them just missed a motorhome, but the car got the worsts of it with a broken windshield.  I hope they had good insurance.
The FMCA Rally was good for us.  We sold thirteen trips with one of them being and over sea's trip.  We really felt we did great for the three day Rally.  It sure made up for the poor showing at the Monaco Rally, but there were about 1400 more rigs here then in Coos Bay.  It was great seeing a lot of old friends that stopped by to say hello. It was also nice seeing some of the vendor that we haven't seen in a couple of years, and getting caught up on what we have been doing.  We had a great time here and look forward to doing a lot more.
After finishing up last Saturday and getting everything put back in the rig, we were off and running early Sunday morning for the Oregon coast.  We arrived at the Seaside TTN RV Park by noon and found our good friends Brian & Rita.  It was good to see these two again, Cyndy & Rita have been best friend since they where in the 5th grade.  It was good to get caught up on what they have been doing.  We tried to talk them into coming South for the winter but they have to much going on up in Washington to leave yet.  They just retired this summer so still have things to finish up.
Tomorrow we head to Tacoma area for out young's granddaughters birthday.  We are both looking forward to that.  Then it is off to do the Grand Circle Tour.  Keep and eye on the blog will be doing a lot of posting while heading down to the tour and while on it.

August 11th

Time fly's when you are having fun.  I can't believe I have went so long without posting something.  We made it back from Hawaii and had a very good time.  It went way to fast but we had a blast.  Our nephew Ronnie and his family are out of this world.  With all there friends and family we helped them celebrate 25 years of marriage.  What a great time.
We got back on August 3rd about midnight and was up early o the 4th to go and pick up Turbo.  He had been staying at a great boarder in downtown Tacoma, called Dawgtown, great people and very caring.  By 8:00 AM we had the trailer hooked up and was on the road to Coos Bay for the Monaco Rally at the Mill Casino in Coos Bay, OR.  We did "OK" no sales but a lot of maybe's, we will see down the road.
On Friday we moved our rig to were our kids were staying and played in the dunes with them while in Coos Bay.  We had a great time and got to run the RZR a little bit.
Then Sunday we headed out to Bend TTN park to wait for a couple of days then head to the FMCA Rally in Redmond, OR.  We hope to do a lot better their.
Other than just sitting around we haven't been to busy.  Cyndy is doing good, Turbo is happy to be back with us, and I am happy to be on the road again.  I just have to find time now to get the RZR ready to license when we get home.
Hope everyone is have a great summer and not to hot!!!!!!!!
