September 30

Yesterday was a travel day to Ancient Redwoods RV Park in Redcrest, CA, with a stop at the Trees of Mystery.

We took over the parking lot with the 21 rigs that we have in our caravan.  I have a few pictures of the park and it is well worth the stop, it took us only about 2 hours to walk through the hole park.  Here are a few pictures of what to expect while walking around here.
Paul Bunyan & Babe the Blue Ox.

At first when I seen Teresa I though she was taking a nap, but then got closer and she was just taking a picture of the trees.

The gondola ride through the trees are neat.
 Got to Love this sign.

The Tale Tails trail has a lot of ceder planks that have carvings on them.

We had a couple of small problems on the way to the park but all in all everyone made it here.  Today we head off on our own through the Avenue of Giants.  Here are a few of the many pictures that we took today.
Our first stop was the drive through tree.
I was starting to drive down to the tree when something in back of me said what the hell are you doing, this thing is not fitting through that tree.  SO I backed up and went around.

Here is one of our guest making it through with no problems and no missing paint.
I did find something that made the truck look small, by driving it up on this log.
Here are a couple of true tree houses.

Here are few pictures as we drove through the park of Gaints.

We stopped at the visitor center and found some more of our guest.

This is a true ceder log RV.

These pictures do not truely show the size, but they are really big and tall.

We had a great day and look forward to the up coming days of this trip.
