Historic Eastern Seaboard day 10

What a day, we were out of here at 10:00 AM, so we got to sleep in just a little.  We put coffee out for the guest and a few came by and had a cup.  We loaded the bus and headed to Long Island to see the sights.  We had a real great guide today and she made it a lot of fun.
Our first stop was the south end of Central Park.  It is hard to believe that over 100 years ago there was no trees here and some spots of this park was a swamp and a place for the homeless to hide.  But now this park is one of the safest in the country and they have turned it into a beautiful park with man made lakes and ball fields for the kids and a place to get away from the fast pass of New York.
This looks like it could be someplace out in the country, then you look over your shoulder.
Looking across the park you see the New York City sky line.
Can you remember the movie that was filmed in this building?  Has to do with Dinosaur coming to life.  Maybe it was Ben Stellar.
Apple had a big store downtown were you can go and try any of there electronics on display.
We got to go into Trump Tower and look around.
No we didn't get to go up to Trumps penthouse, but we did get to use the public restrooms.  That was a relief.
Nice watch their Mr. Trump.
Our next stop was Grand Central Terminal to look around and have lunch.
There is all kinds of sayings all over this place.
They have really did a lot to restore this building.
We stopped at Madison Square Park to take some pictures of buildings in the area.
Empire state building.
These little guys are running all over in these parks.
They call this the Iron Building, it was built on a triangular peace of land, and the building looks like a iron!!!  Every inch of land is used, there is no alley's here in New York.
We even when by Wall Street and we did see the people that are protesting.
Tomorrow we are going to Ellis Island and on to
then onto the Statue of Liberty.
Our last stop was the World Trade Center, it is amazing how much they have done in ten years.
If you look close, the wall with everyone's name on it that lost their life when the Trade Center was distroyed.
There are a lot of these water towers on building throughout the city.
