We are in Foxboro, MA

We are just outside of Boston, and getting ready to start our tour on the Historic East Coast.  We will be Tailgunners on this trip with the Wagonmasters Dean & Cheryl L'amoreaux.  We are really looking forward to this trip.  Here is our location presently.
We will be starting the tour on Monday and Tuesday we do the first of 4 bus tours from here to the surrounding area of Boston.
We had a good trip from New York to Maine.  As we were leaving our last place to head towards Maine we let the Gamin lead us out of Frosty Acre's Park.  I think we found every low bridge that you could find, it took us over and hour to just get 20 miles and out of that town.  Anyway after we got on the road and heading north to Maine we started to see a little bit of the colors that everyone talks about back here in the trees.  We can't wait to really see them change more in the next month.
We didn't get to see much but they are starting to turn colors.

We came across and area in NH that got hit hard by Irene, if you notice all the windows are out of this building on the lower floor looking out at this very slow moving creek.  I don't think it was very slow when it was flooding this area.
This little creek also took out over half of this road.  They are really working hard to get this road back in shape before the fall colors really start.  This area depends on the tourist that drive these roads to see the fall colors. There was a lot of damage to this road for about 20 miles of it.
This covered bridge was closed because this little creek tried to move it down stream a little to far.
We didn't see much other damage but when we went through this little town, the road looked fair but the building on both sides of the road were all a mess from the stream going right down the middle of the road.  It is to bad that this has to happen to so many people, we really feel lucky and hope all these people get back on there feet soon.
This poor guy didn't even get his building finished when Irene wanted to move it.  They were trying to pull it back onto the foundation that it started from.
As we got into Maine.
We did get to see some really great home in our travels.

We seen a lot of nice homes as we were driving through the New England states.
We had a great time at Dave & Judy's place just relaxing and enjoying there company once again.  We had fun talking about the trip to Alaska and just looking out there front windows at the lake.  The food that they cooked was great, and meeting there pride and joy grand kids was also a highlight of our stay there.  We wished we could of meet there son & daughter but they were working somewhere down near Boston.  There daughter-in-law was neat and enjoyed the time we seen her and the kids.  Hope Grace ankle gets better soon so she can get back to soccer, and Sam & Hayden were just great boys. Sam have fun skiing with Dave this winter.
