March 10th

The day has finally come, tomorrow morning at 3:00 AM, yes there are to 3:00 on the clock and I am going to see what the one at the AM looks like.  Cyndy and I have been busy getting ready for this day forever it seems like.  Turbo is at the babysitters hopefully doing OK.  He got a free trip to Pismo for a few days then he will be back here when we get back.  The owners of Steve’s ATV Rental are watching him for us.  That is sure nice of them, we have got to know them very well and enjoy their company a lot.

Now let’s go through the check list, suitcase packed, check; boarding pass printed, check; now to get a little bit of sleep, maybe.  You know how it is the night before you leave on a big trip you really don’t sleep very well.  Anyway tomorrow night’s blog will be coming from Orlando, FL at Disney World.  It will be great to see Cyndy’s cousins and all their family.  So this is a short blog tonight but a lot of pictures tomorrow I hope.  Up up and away at 6:00 AM tomorrow morning!!!!!

March 8th

The last post I did was about some things that I need to get done around the trailer.  One of those things I was hoping would not happen to me did last night.  Yes, I got the stomach flu from Cyndy.  Cyndy is getting over it and I got it.  That is one of those things that us married people seem to do a lot.  We believe in making sure our mate gets whatever the other one has.  It’s not one of those things you try to do it just happens.  Anyway by this morning I was pretty well over it and yes well cleaned out.  I hate to say it but this is a hell of away to lose a few pounds.  Anyway by the end of the day and one meal under my belt tonight I am on the way to a full recovery.

Today was one of those days at work where we did a little bit then took a break.  We got all the bikes ready for this weekend, I like to check them all out and make sure I have no surprises.  Tomorrow all I have left to do is check air pressure in tires.

One more thing, when we get done with work tomorrow we only have one more day and we are off to Disney World.  We are both looking for to this trip and spending time with our cousins.  I think Cyndy and Rose are on the phone at least 3 times a day planning what we are going to be doing.  It should be a great vacation!!!!!

March 6th

Today was one of those days wear I got up and did my thing and Cyndy was in bed.  I should say she was a little under the weather.  I think she has a touch of the stomach flue, hope I don’t get it.  I have been stay a little away from her all day.  With Cyndy under the weather I guess I will get some of the things done around here that needed to be done.

First I need to do some repair to a kitchen cabinet, that’s done.  OK, Cyndy is down so I will do the weekly vacuuming and a little bit of cleaning.  I should have never let her know I can work the cloths washing thing.  So I even got the rugs washed and dried with no damage to them. Let’s see what else I can get into.  Oh, the ribs need to go into the crook pot for dinner, don’t think Cyndy will eat any, but I still have to eat.

OK, everything is done in the house, tomorrow the weather is going to change so I might as well cover up the Razor before it rains.  At least that is what the weather person is saying for Friday.   Wait a minute, why don’t I go out for a short ride, I do need to fill up the Razor.  I asked if it was OK, and Cyndy said be careful.  SO off I went for a little trail ride and filled up the Razor.  Had a good time and found a couple of neat trails that I will have to take Cyndy on when she gets better.

Tomorrow we will be going into town for our weekly shopping trip then back to work on Friday.  Wait a minute; in 5 more days we will be on our way to Disney World, we are looking forward to this trip. We have to dig out the suitcases an d get things packed.  Cyndy get up I need to get the suitcases out from under the bed.  OK, we are getting ready to leave.  Will keep you posted of our trip to Disney World.

March 5th

In 6 days we will be up up and away to Disney World.  We are looking forward to this trip, because we get to see some of our family members that we haven't seen in over a year. 
Today I went to the shop and got the rock guards on the rear A-arms.  Now everything under the Razor is pretty well protected from rocks, at least I hope so!!!!  Got back to the trailer and Cyndy asked if we could go out geocaching, don't have to ask me twice, I was out setting in the Razor waiting for her.
We did pretty good today found 10 more caches in our running around.  There were a couple that got put on our favorites list.

This one was great, it was in this pipe about 12 inch down, need a steel rod to get it, had a magnet on it so up it came.

This was another great find, it was called cheap rent!!!
As you all know we work the weekend so we didn't, get to go over to the Jeep and side by side event.  But heard it was great from the people that stopped by.  A couple of jeeps rolled over playing in the 4x4 park here. One was on the big hill that is straight up and down.  I guess he made it to the top, then put it in reverse and did a role over back wards.  Role cage was damaged pretty good and know one really got hurt.

We were lucky to get a couple of photos of people playing a little bit.

February 28th

The last day of February, it seems like it took forever to get here.  One of the reasons we have been looking forward to March is, we are heading to Disney World in Florida on the 11th of March.  We are going to meet our nephew Ronnie and his family to help RD celebrate his 21st birthday.  We are looking forward to this because Cyndy's cousin Rose will also be their and we should have a lot of fun.
This morning I got up fixed a dynamite breakfast, at least I though so.  Cyndy was still a little under the weather and she wanted to head back into town to a drug store to get something to help her feel better.  That's a plus for everyone if we get her feeling better because if mom isn't feeling good everyone will no it.  Just kidding she isn't that bad, but I like to give her a bad time.
We got back about noon and she was starting to feel a little bit better so we went out for a short ride to see how they are doing at setting up for this weekends event.  But before we even left we seen this just on the other side of the freeway.

With all the black smoke we were worried it might be a RV fire.

We got closer and seen it was just a bunch of junk and tires that caught fire.

We were glad that it was not an RV, but still this fire did a lot of damage to someones stuff.  Will it is time to head out and see how much the area, or should I say little town in the desert has grown.

 The area is starting to fill up with RV's, not to bad yet with it only being Thursday and Friday afternoon is when things start happening.  I hope Saturday to get out here and get some pictures with this place hoping.  We see jeeps all over the place.

Now this is a big boy's toy.  I am hoping that we can get a look at a few more like this.  There are a lot of jeeps coming in with bright shiny paint jobs.  I wonder what they will look like after this weekend of trail riding. Tomorrow we already have people coming in the get ATV's early on Friday so we will be up and at them early.  But one bright thing in just 11 more days we will be on a plane to Disney World!!!!!!

 



February 27th

This morning we got up and had breakfast, Cyndy is feeling a little bit better.  I had her up and eating before 9:00 AM on her day off.  Trying to get her to eat a little earlier on our days off, maybe that will help her diabetes.  Any way we were on our way to town for our weekly trip, stopping by the bank, going to the post office, then to the other 10 stops before we headed back home.  We got back about 1:00 PM and I asked Cyndy if she wanted to go out for a short ride.  So off we went to check out the area for this weekends event.

We headed out through Truck Haven so that we could look down on the 4X4 camp .  We seen about a dozen or so rigs up here on the bluff picking out their area.

You can see the early birds are getting set up and picking the best spots.

As you can see the tents are up for the vendors and the advance staff have there spot and now waiting for everyone to show up.  When talking to one of them today, they said there should be about 6000 people here this weekend.  This place is going to be a little city by Friday night.

This would be a great spot to set up camp, they have the fire ring and a place to sit.  I just don't know how I would get the trailer here.

Yep, that's the trail I came up here on yesterday, now to get Cyndy to want to go down it.

OK, here we go down, what ever goes up must come down some time.

It didn't feel this steep coming up yesterday, or was it a different trail.  Oh well, we are start down, no turning around now.

Cyndy says I am getting a little close to this wall.  I asked did we touch it?  She said no but I can stick my hand out and touch it.

We made it down to the easy part now!!!!

One down a hole bunch more to do some other day.  Tomorrow we are going to get up and enjoy the day and sun with a little bit of geocaching.  The weather is getting warm and by Friday it is going to be in the mid 80's, just right!!!!!  Tomorrow it is going to be just about 80.  Look out we are going Geocaching tomorrow!!!!!

February 26th

Today we had one of those days, which were just a lay around day.  I got up and fixed breakfast, Cyndy was still in bed and said that she had a sore throat and just wanted to lie around.  So I left to meet the guy that wanted 2 Honda 400 EX, drove the Razor up to the shop.  After they went out I went for a short ride and back to the trailer.

I did a few things around the trailer that I had been putting off.  One thing was changing out the vacuum cleaner bag, hadn’t done it in a long while.  Doing some touch up on the cabinets that need a little bit of touch up.  Cyndy was still under the weather so I went out for another ride.  Wanted to see how much more was set up for the weekend Tierra Del Sol Desert Safari.  They are setting up some tents today, will get some pictures Thursday when we go out again.

Tomorrow is our weekly run into town for the things that I need for a very bad habit I have, EATING!!!!!  The doctor keeps telling we to watch how much I eat, my statement to him is I watch every bite.
