August 19th

Those two weeks went by way to fast.  It is amazing how fast time flies when you are busy and having fun.  The first week we were at the Monaco Rally in Coos Bay, working for Adventure Caravan working on selling trips.  At night we were close to where the kids were playing in the dunes.  We had a few great rides with them.  It has been a long time since we have been down here playing.  We didn't sell any trips but planted a lot of seeds and we hope they book later.
After we finished the Monaco Rally, we moved to where the kids were playing in the dunes and rode with them for two days.  It was great to see our grandson play on in dunes and he was catch a little air while doing it.
Then on Sunday we head to Bend Thousand Trails Park for a couple of day of rest before heading to the FMCA Rally in Redmond, OR.  It rained the night before we left with a little bit of thunder, which put Turbo on his shaking and being terrified tell it was all over.  The next morning when I took Turbo out for his walk we seen a tree down across the trail that we walked the last couple of days.  I didn't think it was that windy tell we left and seen two more trees down and one of them just missed a motorhome, but the car got the worsts of it with a broken windshield.  I hope they had good insurance.
The FMCA Rally was good for us.  We sold thirteen trips with one of them being and over sea's trip.  We really felt we did great for the three day Rally.  It sure made up for the poor showing at the Monaco Rally, but there were about 1400 more rigs here then in Coos Bay.  It was great seeing a lot of old friends that stopped by to say hello. It was also nice seeing some of the vendor that we haven't seen in a couple of years, and getting caught up on what we have been doing.  We had a great time here and look forward to doing a lot more.
After finishing up last Saturday and getting everything put back in the rig, we were off and running early Sunday morning for the Oregon coast.  We arrived at the Seaside TTN RV Park by noon and found our good friends Brian & Rita.  It was good to see these two again, Cyndy & Rita have been best friend since they where in the 5th grade.  It was good to get caught up on what they have been doing.  We tried to talk them into coming South for the winter but they have to much going on up in Washington to leave yet.  They just retired this summer so still have things to finish up.
Tomorrow we head to Tacoma area for out young's granddaughters birthday.  We are both looking forward to that.  Then it is off to do the Grand Circle Tour.  Keep and eye on the blog will be doing a lot of posting while heading down to the tour and while on it.
