December 13

Yesterday was wet but being from the northwest we are getting a custom to it raining now after being in the area for over a month now.  It would be nice to see what the sun looks like.

As you can tell Spike likes to stay in bed as long as he can when it is raining.  I think this morning he finally got up about 10:00 AM sleepy head.
 Anyway yesterday we met with some long time friends Tim & Nancy Westmark.  Cyndy & Nancy go back to before High School and we were neighbors when we were both first married.  When ever we are in town we try to meet them at our favorite China's Restaurant for their Saturday lunch special.

   It was great to see them again and get caught up on how their two kids are doing, Angie is due any time with their first grandson.  That is who one of the blankets Cyndy made is going too.  We always like talking with these folks and before we new it the waitress came by and said she was going off shift and have a good day.  We had been there talking for about 3 hours, I guess we might want to get going.
After we left them we head home because we were heading out to Cyndy's Cousins house for dinner and playing cards.
Today we got a phone call from Jared wondering what time we were coming over for Papa to watch the game with his dad and Nana to help mom & him make Christmas cookies?  The game started at 10:00 AM so we were off to there place about 9:45 AM, they only live five minutes from were we are staying.

 Jared is placing the cookie cutter just right to get the most cookie's out of the dough.

 I think one of these days he is going to be a baker, he really likes doing this kind of stuff.  Well at least this time Cyndy & Jared did not get into a floor fight!!!!

Here is what the finished product look like, great job Jared, also all of his helpers.  The Seahawks won and I am happy for them, all they have to do is keep winning and maybe, just maybe go to the super bowl again.  We can only hope!!!!!!
