Day 18

All the time that Cyndy and I have been working for Adventure Caravan, have we ever had a move that was such a long drive.  We had to really get up early to be ready to get everyone out of the park on time.  After a long morning of checking that everything was in its place and everyone was ready.  We set our odometer back to "0" and turned right out of the park towards Durango, CO.  Wait a minute how far to we have to drive today?  You mean we only have 50 miles, OK.  Lets back up a minute,  first of all we don't have to leave tell 11:00 AM.  So that means the rest of the guest have to be out by 11:00 AM for a little over and hour drive to Durango and they can't get their tell after 12:00 Noon.  SO a lot of them waited tell just before 11:00, and we hit the road by 11:20 I think.  Anyway it was a nice drive with no problems, I like that.
I am looking forward to exploring this town on Saturday, it really look like a neat little town.  After that long drive we kind of went around visiting with all the guest.  At 5:00 PM we had a short Happy Hour then a even shorter meeting about going on the bus ride to Silverton and train ride back to Durango.  OK, now that is over with we can get down to the good stuff.  A good old fashion "POT LUCK" my favorite.
There was plenty to go around and plenty for second's also. All of it was so good.

I hope everyone ate good because tomorrow we have a bus ride then train ride and I don't know whne we will have a chance for a meal this good in a long time.
Another great day on a Caravan of super people.  Looking forward to what we will see tomorrow, the train ride on the Silverton Railroad narrow gauge tracks.  These were some of the most exciting railroads in America.
