Day 27

Last night it rained, and I mean rain.  I thought someone was pouring buckets of water onto the top of our coach, but by morning it had let up and the sky was almost blue.  We were planning a tour to "Bearizona". We left at 8:30 AM for a short drive to Bearzona of just over 2.5 miles.
What a entry way to what looks like a pretty new park.  We found out that this parked has just opened in the last 4 years, and they have done a wonderful job on this place.
We road into the drive through part of the park in this nice open air bus.  The guide was great and all of the animals had names.  I am sorry but could not remember them all but one. Bearizona provide sanctuary for orphaned wild born animals, or confiscated captive wildlife. Here are a few of the different animals that they have here.
Each area has its on fenced area to keep the animals separated.

This is the oldies bear in the park and she rules the roost, she is 16 if I recall correctly.
These are just a few of the animals that we seen on the drive through area. This is a wonderful 3 mile drive of view the animals
. Fort Bearizona walk through area is another viewing area of the smaller animals.

Everyone enjoyed this next enclosure.
These were one to two year old cubs that have been abandoned cubs or peoples pets that got a little big.  Their had to be at least 15 of them in here playing.  We must of watched them for half an hour or more.
Here we got to see a bird demonstration and it was great.
We got to see at least 4 different species of raptors.

I think this one is coming for me!!!!!!

I don't think Judy wants to get hit by one of the birds.
Don't look up Judy it is over head.  We had a great time this morning at Bearizona, by the time we got back to the campground the ski had opened up and the rain started to come down along with the wind.  So this afternoon we stayed inside and took it easy.
Tomorrow we are serving breakfast for everyone and then they are on there own to go into town or up to the Grand Canyon and do some more exploring.  Tomorrow is suppose to be sunny and warm again, YAH!!!!!
